Big Cartel limits the number of listings I can have so some of the large bags and wedge bags are options on the regular bag listings. Click on 'Large Box Bags' or 'Wedge Bags' to see what I have available. If you're looking for a certain print, try searching for the theme name - like 'Whovian' or 'Austen'. You might be surprised at what pops up!
When the shop is open, if a print shows 'sold out' then it's sold out (I'm sorry!) and I'm either waiting for the reorder to arrive to restock or I need to do inventory to restock.
When the shop is open, I do small updates almost daily. I do large shop updates with the SciFi prints about every 2 weeks.

I recently began offering Jane Austen themed bags which were featured in the Dry Goods section of the Fall 2012 edition of Jane Austen Knits by Interweave Press - I have a screenshot up in my Ravelry group (and while you're there, why not join the group?)
SbJL is home of the ORIGINAL bucket bag! Often imitated but never duplicated. ;o)

Box Bag Info: Each bag includes a color-coordinated zipper pull made of swarovski crystals and a silver bee – a signature addition to all Stitched by JessaLu bags. Sometimes the zipper pull you receive isn’t the same color as the one in the pictures since from time to time I’ll change my mind regarding color coordination but it *will* match!
Box Bag dimensions:
Regular: 7.5″ long, 3.5″ high, 4.5″ wide - large enough to hold a sock project or a spindle. Handles are long enough to fit over your wrist.
Large: 12″ long, 4″ high and 6″ wide – just the right size to hold a larger project
Wedge Bag dimensions:
Regular Wedge: 11" wide, 6" tall and 3" wide at the bottom. The perfect size for socks in progress or a similarly sized project.
Large Wedge: 15" wide, 10" tall and 4" wide at the bottom. This size will easily fit a sweater-in progress or (very) large shawl
LONG Wedge Dimensions: 15" wide, 7" tall and 4" wide at the bottom. This size will easily fit a smaller sweater, a two-color hat/mitten/scarf project or large shawl.
Bucket Bag dimensions:
Regular: 7″ tall, 4.5″ wide and 3.5″ deep
Spindle Bag dimensions:
One Size: 12.5″ long, 3.5″ wide, 3.5″ tall
**PLEASE NOTE** If you are worried about how to clean your bag, you CAN machine wash in cold water on delicate cycle after removing zipper pull (they have a clasp) and then air dry. You CAN put it in the dryer, but it may lose it’s shape.

All hand-sewn items are made by me (yes, I am a one-woman operation - unless I can wrangle my husband into ironing or cutting interfacing) on a c1937 Model 15-91 Singer sewing machine in a smoke-less and cat-less home (but not dog-less, though she's little and isn't allowed in the sewing room).
You can see pictures of my sewing machine here. My machine isn't fancy, it doesn't have the ability to do a lockstitch edge but she's a workhorse and I love her. She does the job while my fancy new Singer sits in the closet, not working.
I am MORE THAN HAPPY to do custom orders! If you see two fabrics on two different bags in the shop that you think will make a lovely bag for yourself or if you have a general color/print idea kicking around and would like to design your own SbJL bag please don't hesitate to contact me! (please note that custom requests are for fabric only - I cannot take requests for custom bag designs at this time and if I do not have the fabric in stock this will add significantly to the delivery estimate)
